My Ipad bookshelf

I love to read!  I love books, the library, the bookstore. Paperbacks, hardbacks, eBooks!
You name it – if it has to do with reading, especially curling up with a great book on a fascinating topic I am all for it.

This week alone I have read the following books:

The Bootstrap VA: The Go-Getter’s Guide to Becoming a Virtual Assistant, Getting and Keeping Clients, and More!
– Lisa Morosky

The 100 Thing Challenge: How I Got Rid of Almost Everything, Remade My Life, and Regained My Soul
– Dave Bruno

You Can Buy Happiness (and It’s Cheap) How One Woman Radically Simplified Her Life and How You Can Too
– Tammy Strobel

Here are the books I am currently reading:

Blog, Inc: Blogging for Passion, Profit and to Create Community
– Joy Cho

First Steps to Wealth: A Revolution to Increase Your Income, Improve Your Relationships and Expand Your Influence
– Dani Johnson

Organized Simplicity: The Clutter-free Approach to Intentional Living
– Tsh Oxenreider

Problogger: Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income
– Darren Rowse and Chris Garrett

Virtual Assistant – The Series: Become a Highly Successful, Sought After VA
– Diana Ennen and Kelly Poelker

All but one of the above books is on my Ipad, which is such a great way to carry all of my books without having to tote around a bag full of books.

I would love to hear what you are reading or what is on your current to-read list.

    • Hi Kathie – it’s great to meet another serial reader. I’d love to hear what you are currently reading?

  1. I used to be a huge reader. I’ve kind of let digital scrapbooking take over all my free time. But I am glad i stopped by. Ive been very interesting in how to get started as a VA and your reading list for the week has some titles that are perfect. Have added this to my Pocket to read later.

    • Fabulous! Love it Cindy! – I’m glad I was able to provide some resources/books that may be of use to you.
Interesting – I’ve always been interested in digital scrapbooking – but with my new business and my many books I don’t know if I would have the time for it. 🙂

  2. I love to read too. I’m on two different blogger book review sites. I do wish I had more time to read. I agree it should be a part of everyone’s priority list.

  3. Me too, me too! I’ve just read A Million Miles in a Thousand Years by Donald Miller (for the second time), reading Art & Fear by David Bayles and Ted Orland, and in the lineup are The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls and It’s Never A Secret by L.J. Kaufman, a local author. Putting some from your list on mine!

As a VA, I find that trying to read ebooks makes me feel like I’m working, so I prefer the book itself when reading for pleasure. But I do download a lot of reference books.

    Thanks for the list!

    • Thanks for sharing what you are reading Debbie. I haven’t heard of any of them and I will be reviewing them and I’m certain adding some of yours to my list.
I’m glad you were able to find some books that were interest to you.
I think I might have to make a weekly/monthly reading list to update my readers of what I’m currently reading and keeping up with what they are reading. It seems like a very popular topic.
