Welcome to my new series Happy Mail Monday. If you are anything like me you enjoy anything that brightens your day and what better than enjoying happy mail (other than receiving your own happy mail). Every Monday I’m going to share with you a reflection on the happy mail I received over the previous week.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term “happy mail” it applies to anything which arrives via snail mail, outside of your daily, commonplace mail such as bills, junk mail, etc. which lifts your spirits or puts a smile on your face.
My happy mail will apply to anything I purchased for myself, any items gifted to me from friends and family for special occasions or any delicious little surprises I was fortunate to be R.A.K’d (Random Act of Kindness).
Today’s Happy Mail Monday is a collection of stationery items I purchased from two Etsy shops. The first shop is Cindy’s Perfect Paper Crafting owned by Cindy. This is my second order from Cindy and I am pleased with everything, including the special order stickers I requested.
This order consists of two versions of gray fox kiss cut stickers, two gray fox paper clips and two sheets of kiss cut “arches” stickers.
When I decided on the theme for my newest fauxdori I searched everywhere for stationery items to match my “arches” theme and turned up nothing. I had just received my first order from Cindy so I sent her an Etsy request asking for her to design some “arches” stickers. Needless to say, Cindy did not disappoint even going so far as to have the proofs of the sticker designs for me within a couple of days. Now that’s service!
The second Etsy shop is from Onica Hanby. She has a vast selection of specialty midori/fauxdori dashboards and paper folders. Again, this too was my second order from Onica and my fauxdori folder turned out beautifully.
So there you have it, my happy mail from last week. I’d love if you shared with me a description some of your favorite happy mail items or your favorite Etsy shps with me in the comments.
